Senior Product Manager (Payments)

Job Description:
ID TECH is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Software Services product team and lead all payments experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of our payments offerings, including the evolution of our Payments Application Engine (PAE) across all markets. You will lead efforts to innovate on payments experiences in both unattended and attended domains and introduce adjacent and value-added services that complement the payment experiences our partners and clients are looking to offer and leverage in conjunction with our devices, including merchant services.

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for ID TECH’s payments experiences within the Software Services product portfolio.
  • Lead the evolution of the Payments Application Engine (PAE) to meet the evolving needs of customers and partners across various markets.
  • Drive innovation in payments experiences for both unattended and attended domains, leveraging emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce adjacent and value-added services that complement and enhance our payments offerings, including merchant services.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, to prioritize features and enhancements based on market needs and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Gather and prioritize customer feedback to drive product improvements and innovation.
  • Work closely with third-party partners and payment networks to ensure compliance and certification of our payments solutions.
  • Develop business cases, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans for new payment products and services.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for optimization.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on payment processing technologies, regulations, and industry standards.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on payments, software services, or related fields.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of payment processing technologies, including EMV, NFC, and contactless payments.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products or platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of payment industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, EMVCo).
  • Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in the payments domain.
