LABAU's Needs
Over the past decade, LABAU has placed a strong emphasis on display-related products and customized services. In recent years, they’ve seen a shift in the market, especially in the U.S., where there is an accelerating move towards payment-related solutions. As LABAU continues to expand its POS product offerings, they identified a growing need among their end customers for an integrated payment reader that could meet strict security standards, offer global certification, and maintain a compact footprint. In Europe, they also received numerous inquiries about second displays supporting payment solutions.
They believe this shift is driven by post-pandemic trends and an increased focus on data security, with the payment process being executed by the consumer. Therefore, LABAU was in search of a sleek, PCI PTS 6.x certified payment device that could ensure seamless transactions across both European and US markets.
Our Solution: VP3350
After a careful evaluation process, LABAU selected ID TECH’s VP3350 as their preferred payment solution.
