As the EMV liability shift for US retailers approaches and payment security becomes top priority worldwide, the BTPay 200 is an ideal payment solution that incorporates EMV, security and convenience into one durable device. The BTPay 200 features a MagStripe reader, an ICC chip card reader, and a PIN pad, allowing merchants to accept both MagStripe and EMV payments from their mobile devices. The BTPay 200 is PCI-PTS 3.x certified with SRED function supported and is EMV Level 1 and Level 2 certified for the use of Chip and PIN in global markets.

To accommodate consumers during the transition to EMV, merchants can rely on the BTPay 200s security when accepting both MagStripe and EMV card transactions. The BTPay 200s three-track MagStripe reader and ICC chip reader both support AES and TDES encryption algorithms using DUKPT key management. In addition to the card readers supporting encryption, the BTPay 200s keypad is also protected with the ability to encrypt manually entered card data.

The convenience of the BTPay 200s functionalities can be used in a variety of industries, from taking payments at the table for sit-down restaurants to reducing wait times in checkout lines at busy retail environments.
