Job Duties:

• Work closely with product management, application software engineers, and partners to understand requirements, specify interfaces for new software frameworks, and enhance existing ones.
• Maintain and enhance the AOSP framework and application which will involve requests from the product team and customer.
• Implement custom services, applications, and device management features.
• Documentation for projects includes design, user guide, and tests.
• Cross-teamwork to debug the stack’s functional, performance, and stability issues.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews for the platform team.

Qualifications:

• B.S., M.S. in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an AOSP Developer.
• 5+ years of experience in coding in Java/Kotlin.
• Considerable experience in AOSP, Android HAL, and Android framework internals.
• In-depth knowledge of Android runtime, Java/native heap management, and binder communications.
• Good knowledge of revision control and code review tools like git, and Gerrit.
• Ability to troubleshoot critical and complex systems.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
