ID TECH is looking to hire a highly self-motivated individual to fulfill our Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the RSM position will be responsible for meeting ID TECH sales objectives, initiatives, business development, and sales operational processes. Relying on their extensive sales and payment industry experience, the RSM will work with ID TECH’s payment partners and customers (payment gateways, payment processors, independent software vendors, value-added resellers, and OEM clients) to identify opportunities, partnerships, and business opportunities that will drive the use of ID TECH products and technologies into our market segments. The ideal candidate will possess partnership management, sales, and business development skills, as well as the technical depth to understand the needs of our partners and customers and then drive alignment with ID TECH’s objectives.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver results by executing daily, weekly, and monthly targets in support of sales/business development objectives.
  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with selected payment gateways and processors to drive adoption of ID TECH products and solutions including overseeing and driving P2PE and EMV certifications.
  • Drive new design wins of ID TECH products for use in each of our market segments (retail, unattended, kiosk, POS, gaming, OEM, mobile payments).
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to help define the right customer and partner solutions based on ID TECH technology.
  • Be an industry expert on payment trends, EMV, P2PE, and how they create opportunities for ID TECH products and technologies.
  • Be the ID TECH key point of contact for all customer/partner related issues (e.g. overdue invoices, shipping issues, RMA, etc.)
  • Other applicable duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years successful track record in sales/business development in the Payments Industry preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the payment industry preferred.
  • Wide Rolodex of payment industry contacts at the major payment processor/gateway companies preferred.
  • Wide Rolodex of kiosk and unattended industry contacts an asset preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong quantitative skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals.
  • Proven ability to influence others.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and a “can-do” attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Able to travel up to 40% of the time for partner meetings and events.
